Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a team of software engineers, guiding them through their careers and projects in game development, as well as growing the team through hiring. This position includes designing, developing, and debugging systems and major features of games as a contributor. The role requires experience with C++, Unreal and source control.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in managing software engineers, and has broad experience with Unreal, with one or more specializations in areas such as graphics, gameplay, UI, audio or tools technology. This position would entail managing a small team of engineers across multiple projects utilizing Unreal Engine 5 as well as proprietary game engines.
